Mildly Ridiculous

Storyteller + Women's Leadership Advocate.

Who I Am.

Hi there, I'm Rachel. It's nice to meet you.

I’m a B2B marketing + communications leader with a past life copywriting for Fortune 500 companies, and I believe that creating exceptional work doesn't mean taking yourself exceptionally seriously. In an increasingly loud and heavily branded world, I swear by a strong voice and measurable marketing strategy to connect with audiences, build valuable relationships and take companies from surviving to thriving.  Happily transplanted in NYC, I'm a passionate advocate for diversity and gender parity in the tech space, and currently make my home as the head of marketing + communications at an infrastructure tech company working to make communities safer and more resilient.

Experience in a Nutshell:

  • Marketing leader + storyteller, currently Sr. Director of MarComms at Urbint

  • PR and communications expert - byline ideation and execution for publications including AdExchanger, TechCrunch and MediaPost, in addition to speech writing and executive management and coaching

  • Internal comms specialist, with a focus on building trust and collaboration within teams for higher productivity

  • Former copywriter for Fortune 500 brands, non-profits and startups alike, working across print, digital and television

  • University guest lecturer in creative careers, branding and women's leadership

  • Advocate for gender equality and diversity in the tech and creative industries

What I Do.

Core 4 competencies.

MarCom Strategy + Activation

Brand Building + go-to-market strategy

Personal Branding + Coaching

Communications Workshops + Speaking Engagements

Humans relate to one another through the stories we tell. That will never change.
